The death of Harambe, the Gorilla is absolutely heartbreaking. Many people are blaming the mother of that child, but lets face it sometimes crazy things happen. I’d like to say that would never happen to my child because I ALWAYS watch my child, which I do. But, we all know crazy things can happen in the blink of an eye.
Dave “Showtime” Meyer is a comedian who usually posts comedic videos to his Facebook channel. Today he posted something much more serious. His message is that human lives matter.
I am so thankful to the men and women who put their lives on the line to serve our country. I am also thankful that the little boy wasn’t more seriously injured and he will be alright. I am deeply saddened that Harambe was killed, but I still do believe that Human Lives Matter.
I understand that a lot of people will disagree with this and that’s alright. Maybe when I became a mother it changed me, but I would do ANYTHING to keep my child safe. Even if the outcome is heartbreaking. Share this on Facebook if you agree.
